Family Vacation On A Budget 90 Day Fiance

When you think of a family vacation on a budget, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Perhaps it’s time away with your kids in a small vacation spot. Or maybe, you’re perusing Pinterest for outfit ideas for your big family vacation.

So you’re getting ready to take off on the adventure of a lifetime. The only problem is, you don’t know exactly where or how. You’ve heard that planning a family vacation can be stressful enough without adding some international travel into the mix, but with the right information and research, planning that perfect family vacation on a budget can be as easy as finding your ideal spot for travel. Have you ever been on a family vacation that you can’t stop raving about? If yes, then this article is for you. Hi there! My name is Steven and I am writing to you because I have recently been on the best trip with my family that left me breathless. Now, I am going to share my secret with you the way I shared it with my friends and family.

When it comes to family vacations, our go-to destination has always been Puerto Rico. Why? Because Mexico and the Dominican Republic are only a short plane ride away from the States but Puerto Rico is actually part of the US. Everyone happily flies into San Juan, and we drive to a beach house that we rent for a week. The whole gang goes — me, my wife and my kids; her brother, his wife and their kids; and my parents who don’t even have children but love us so much that they promise to join us every year.

Family Vacation On A Budget 90 Day Fiance

The original 90 Day Fiancé series premiered in 2014, and the popularity of the TLC show has led to spinoffs like 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, and 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way.

The show and its many spinoffs follow international couples pursuing the K-1 visa, which lets Americans bring their foreign partners to the States provided they get married within a 90-day window, with the exception being The Other Way, which follows Americans moving overseas to be with their foreign partners. It’s the perfect breeding ground for culture clashes, fights (both verbal and physical), and naive people potentially getting scammed for a green card.

As the show’s subjects expose their and their families’ lives for the sake of amazing reality TV, viewers might wonder how much the 90 Day Fiancé cast gets paid—or if they make money at all for being on the show.

Do 90 Day Fiancé couples get paid?

The couples on 90 Day Fiancé do get paid, but it’s not much. A source told Radar Online that cast members on the show get paid about $1,000 to $1,500 per episode, and $2,500 to appear on the tell-all special. That paycheck amounts to about $14,500 for a 12-episode season.

However, the foreign member of the couple that’s on a K-1 visa doesn’t get a paycheck at all. The source explained, “They can’t even get paid because they have to wait for a work permit. It’s of course different if filming takes place in their country.”

However, there are conflicting reports when it comes to payment for the spinoffs. As 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates told Newsweek, a couple on Before the 90 Days makes $500 an episode, while couples on Happily Ever After get between $2,000 to $7,500 episode. Some sources say that supporting cast members, such as friends and family of the couple, get paid about $250 for one day of filming, but Reality Blurb says they don’t get paid at all.

Remember Nikki Cooper and Chris Thieneman, friends of David and Annie on 90 Day Fiancé? Cooper claims that they weren’t paid for the time on the show, even though their house was used for filming. And when Cooper and Thieneman asked production to pay to clean their house after the TLC crew tracked dirt into their home, they only offered the couple $100.
