I love winter. There is something special about the cold weather, snow, and Christmas songs that just puts me in a great mindset. When I think back to my favorite childhood memories, many are from Winters. I remember one year[s] where we were snowed in for almost two weeks! I also remember watching my dad building snow forts as well as enjoying various family activities outside when the snow was piled up a couple feet high. Winter can be a very fun time of the year.  Finding a vacation location can be fun, but having a plan can help you determine which destinations will work the best for your family and budget.

Vacation is a necessity that allows us to refresh and recharge our minds, bodies, and spirits. Despite the undeniable benefits of getting away during the cold winter months, many people opt to skip vacations due to budget restraints or fear of the “cold”. However there are a number of warm family winter vacation destinations perfect for your winter getaway.

Speaking of great beaches and pools, Cancun and the Riviera Maya have them too! The area is also home to a multitude of family-friendly resorts. Dude Ranch with Kids - Trail Ride through Tucson Arizona Desert

Tucson flies a bit under the radar as a family travel destination. It’s probably overshadowed by its big name Arizona neighbors like Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Sedona. Tucson offers lots of challenging and scenic desert hikes, one of the country’s best air and space museums, Saguaro National Park, and more than its fair share of family-friendly dude ranches.
