Last week, I came back to India, but only to pack my bags again and head off to Singapore. It was a short trip, but it gave me the opportunity to get familiar with the Singaporean Visa process. If you can prove that you’ll be bringing in at least 2.5 lakh Singapore dollars per year, then you can get a yearly visa and stay in Singapore without any restrictions or extensions. This is my experience with the whole process – from beginning to end, and hopefully it will help ease your ultimate transition into staying there for good.

It’s not everyday that we get to enjoy the exotic surroundings of Singapore. It is a country stashed with wonders and attractions. The mighty architectural behemoths of Marina Bay Sands, the superb temples and mosques, the extensive greenery in gardens, national parks and booming nature trails, the endless shopping plazas stacked with goods you can imagine – Singapore has them all. And most of all, it also has very lenient immigration policies for individuals who want to set up a business in Singapore.

Despite its diminutive nature, Singapore is a monster when it comes to business. Being ranked constantly at the top of the Ease of Doing Business Index, the country has one of the easiest and the freest business regulations. The Singapore business visa has allowed several businessmen to explore the business opportunities.

What is Singapore Business Visa?

The business visa is an endorsement that lets individuals travel to Singapore to take part in business-related activities such as meetings, conferences, trade fairs, etc. A large number of nationalities have visa-free entry into the country. However, since India is not among them, a Singapore business visa for Indian citizens is a mandatory requirement to travel to the nation. The permit is issued in the form of an e visa for Indians and can be granted for a duration of 30 days or even up to 90 days with single-entry or multiple-entries based on your choice and the decision of the High Commission.
