Vacation In Estes Park

When you think of vacationing, chances are Estes Park never comes to mind. Maybe you saw Rocky Mountain High (the original) and envisioned it’s the warmest and driest place you can imagine. Perhaps you’ve heard people rave about Estes and the area hours away from Denver, the state capital city, where a visit to the Red Rocks Amphitheater is a must. Travel websites recommend us as a place to travel because of the spectacular views rather than because of the culture, music and food products on offer. However, this is all set to change in recent times. Beyond its beautiful views and nature activities, there are plenty here to discover in this village charm come big city hideaway.

A vacation is supposed to be an escape from the daily grind, a time when you let your hair down, devour some doughnuts and enjoy the peace and quiet. If you want to experience this, but find the idea of driving for hours doing nothing but staring at a wheat field just a tad too tedious (and don’t tell me that there’s not at least one thing that can get you distracted from a wheat field –- we all have our vices) then why not consider taking a vacation to Estes Park?

Have you ever been somewhere that was so beautiful, you really wanted to stay there? But, had to leave. If you are like me, what you really wanted to do was make the place where you were staying your home. Well, your home can be anywhere in the world, but Estes Park, Colorado is one of those places that is so beautiful it makes you want to never go home.

Located at the foot of 14,259-foot tall Longs Peak, Estes Park is just one mile from Rocky Mountain National Park.
